Bilingual meeting minutes template for two-language teams
A side-by-side template that keeps the same meeting record in two languages — with a copyable structure, a filled-in example, and free DOCX downloads.
When to use a bilingual template
Use it when one meeting record has to serve readers in two languages: international projects, joint ventures with a foreign partner, client work across countries, or teams where engineers and management report in different languages. The format is a two-column table — each language gets its own column, and every section is mirrored side by side, so the two versions describe exactly the same decisions and never drift apart.

| Action items: Maria — send the updated schedule, due Friday. Ivan — confirm equipment delivery dates, due Wednesday. | Поручения: Мария — отправить обновлённый график, срок пятница. Иван — подтвердить сроки поставки оборудования, срок среда. |
| Next meeting: Same time next week | Следующая встреча: В то же время на следующей неделе |
How to keep both versions in sync
- Write one language first, then translate section by section — not the whole document at once
- Keep decisions and action items word-for-word equivalent; summaries can be looser
- Keep names, dates, and amounts identical in both columns
- If a term has no clean translation, keep the original in parentheses
- Mark one column as the authoritative version for disputes, if the record is contractual
FAQ
When do I need bilingual meeting minutes?
Whenever the meeting record has to be read by people who don't share one language: international projects, joint ventures, client work across countries, or teams where management and contractors report in different languages.
How is the bilingual template structured?
As a two-column table: each language has its own column, and every section — summary, topics, decisions, action items — is mirrored side by side, so the two versions never drift apart.
Which language pairs are available for download?
Ready-made DOCX files are available for English–Russian and Russian–German. The DOCX is fully editable, so you can replace either column with any other language.
Can AllMins produce minutes in a different language than the meeting?
Yes. In AllMins you choose the meeting language and the output language independently, so you can hold the meeting in one language and get the minutes in another — then paste each version into its column.
